About Seedance 1.5 Pro
Seedance 1.5 Pro is the ByteDance Seedance model that came before Seedance 2.0, and the first in the series to generate sound together with video. In Kinoseed it animates a start image, with an optional end frame.
Clips are 5 or 10 seconds long at 480p, 720p or 1080p, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Sound is optional. At 480p without sound it is the lowest-cost video model in the Kinoseed studio.
Use it for drafts, for bringing portraits and product photos to life, and for volume work where the price per clip matters more than the highest resolution.

Frequently asked questions
Is Seedance 1.5 Pro free?
You can try it free. New accounts get 50 free credits, and a 5-second clip at 480p with Seedance 1.5 Pro costs 12 credits, so the free credits cover 4 runs. Results never carry a watermark, free credits included.
How long can Seedance 1.5 Pro videos be?
Seedance 1.5 Pro clips are 5 or 10 seconds long. Pick the length in the studio before you generate. Longer clips cost more, and the exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything.
Can Seedance 1.5 Pro turn an image into a video?
Yes, that is how it works in Kinoseed: Seedance 1.5 Pro animates a start image you upload, guided by your prompt. It does not generate from text alone. You can also add an end frame so the clip finishes on a specific image.
Does Seedance 1.5 Pro generate sound?
Yes, when you turn sound on in the studio. It is off by default because it raises the price: a 5-second clip at 480p costs 12 credits silent and 25 with sound.
