How to swap a character

1. 1

   Add the target photo

   The scene the swap happens in. Its pose, framing, environment and shadow direction are all kept — the occupant is what changes.

2. 2

   Add the character

   The one going in, head to toe. Unlike a face swap this carries build, hair and wardrobe too, so a full-body reference reads best.

3. 3

   Swap

   The new character is lit and angled to match the scene, and the result comes back in the target's own frame.
