Kinoseed API

Quickstart

Create a key on your account page (it is shown once), then start a run and wait for it:

The POST answers at once with a job; the GET holds the line up to 50 seconds while the job runs and returns it the moment it finishes. Images usually finish inside one wait. Videos take minutes, so loop the GET until status is completed or failed. See Jobs.

Basics

• Base URL https://kinoseed.app/api/v1. JSON in, JSON out, UTF-8.
• Every request but the model catalog carries Authorization: Bearer ks_live_.... See Authentication.
• Every error is one envelope, { "error": { "code", "message", "details" } }, with a stable code. See Errors.
• Send an Idempotency-Key on POSTs and a retry can never start a second run. See Idempotency.
• The whole API is described in /openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1), and agents can connect to the MCP server instead of calling REST.

Models

Every model the API runs has its own page with the price per run in credits and dollars, specs, and a request for that model you can copy. Ids and example prices for all of them are on Models.
