About Seedance 2.0 Fast

Seedance 2.0 Fast is a quicker version of ByteDance's Seedance 2.0. It takes the same inputs: a text prompt, a start frame with an optional end frame, or up to 9 reference images cited in the prompt.

Clips are 5, 8 or 10 seconds long at 480p or 720p, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Sound is generated with the picture and is part of the price.

It sits between Seedance 2.0 Mini and the full model on price. Use it when you want Seedance 2.0's look back sooner, and Mini when the price per clip matters most.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 5-second clip at 480p in dollars

The cheapest Seedance 2.0 Fast run is 110 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Seedance 2.0 Fast API

Run Seedance 2.0 Fast from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id seedance-2-fast. This request costs 110 credits ($2.20). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Seedance 2.0 Fast from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
