About Seedance 2.0 Mini

Seedance 2.0 Mini is the smaller version of ByteDance's Seedance 2.0. It takes the same inputs: a text prompt, a start frame with an optional end frame, or up to 9 reference images cited in the prompt as [Image1], [Image2] and so on.

Clips are 5, 8 or 10 seconds long at 480p or 720p, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Sound is generated with the picture and is part of the price, as on Seedance 2.0, and a clip costs about half as much.

Kinoseed's video templates, Multi Reference and Rap Battle run on it. Pick it when you want Seedance 2.0's reference mode for less, and Seedance 2.0 itself when you need 1080p or 4K.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 5-second clip at 480p in dollars

The cheapest Seedance 2.0 Mini run is 70 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Seedance 2.0 Mini API

Run Seedance 2.0 Mini from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id seedance-2-mini. This request costs 70 credits ($1.40). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Seedance 2.0 Mini from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
