About Kling 2.6 Pro

Kling 2.6 Pro is the version of Kling, the video model from Kuaishou, that came before Kling 3.0. It takes a text prompt or a start image, with an optional end frame.

Clips are 5 or 10 seconds long in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Sound is optional, and a silent clip costs half as much as one with sound.

It keeps Kling's weighty motion for people and products at a lower price than Kling 3.0, which makes it a good model for drafts and for volume.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 5-second clip in dollars

The cheapest Kling 2.6 Pro run is 65 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Kling 2.6 Pro API

Run Kling 2.6 Pro from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id kling-2-6. This request costs 65 credits ($1.30). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Kling 2.6 Pro from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
