Pricing
The API spends the same credits as the web app, at the same prices. A run is priced from what it takes to make: the model, the length, the resolution, sound and how many images.
How a run is charged
POST /images and POST /videos quote the request, charge the quote before the provider is called, and return it on the job as credits.charged. If the provider refuses or fails the run, the whole amount comes back on its own and the job shows it as credits.refunded. There is no fee per request: reading jobs, listing models and quoting are free.
To know the price before you spend, send the same body to POST /quote. When the balance is short the run is refused with 402 insufficient_credits and nothing is charged.
What common calls cost
Computed by the same quote functions the API charges with. The USD column is at the headline credit price of $0.02 a credit; plans buy credits for less.
