Hailuo 2.3 Fast is the quicker, lower-cost version of MiniMax's Hailuo 2.3. In Kinoseed it animates a start image: upload a photo and describe what should happen.

Clips are 6 or 10 seconds long, and the aspect ratio follows your image, so there is little to set.

Like the full Hailuo 2.3 it is strong at energetic motion such as dance and sport. Use it to try a move on a photo before paying for a longer or higher-resolution model.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 6-second clip in dollars

The cheapest Hailuo 2.3 Fast run is 40 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Run Hailuo 2.3 Fast from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id minimax-hailuo-23-fast. This request costs 40 credits ($0.80). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Hailuo 2.3 Fast from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
