How to generate and edit video

  1. 1

    Describe the shot

Write what happens in the clip. Add an image to start from, or switch to Edit and upload a video to change one you already have.

  2. 2

Pick a model and the format

Choose the model, then the aspect ratio, the duration and the resolution it supports. The Generate button shows what the run will cost.

  3. 3

    Generate and recreate

The clip lands in the feed beside the controls. Download it, or recreate it to load the same settings back and try a variation.

Video Studio: questions and answers

›Is the AI video generator free?

New accounts get 50 free credits, which is enough to try the image tools but usually not a full video. Video is priced by model, length and resolution, and the Generate button shows the exact cost before you run it. Credit packs and monthly plans are on the pricing page.

›Which AI video models are available?

Kling 3.0 (the default), Seedance 2.0, Seedance 1.5 Pro, Google Veo 3.1, Veo 3.1 Lite, Grok Imagine, Wan 2.7 and MiniMax Hailuo 2.3. You can switch between them in one studio, and your settings are remembered per model.

›Can I turn an image into a video?

Yes. Add a start frame and the model animates from it, and models that support it also take an end frame or reference images. Some models need an image to start from, while others also work from text alone.

›How long can AI videos be, and at what resolution?

It depends on the model: lengths run from 4 to 10 seconds per clip, with Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan 2.7 and Hailuo 2.3 offering 10 seconds. Resolution goes up to 4K on Seedance 2.0 and Veo 3.1.

›Do the videos have sound?

On models that support it, you can switch on generated sound for dialogue and effects. It is off by default because it costs more, and the button price updates when you turn it on.

›Can I use the videos commercially?
