To use Wan 3.0, open the Video studio, click the Model card and choose Wan 3.0, write the shot in the Prompt or drop a picture into Start frame, pick the shape, Resolution and a Duration of 5 or 10 seconds, and press Generate Video. Sound is made with the picture and is part of the price. A 5 second clip costs 50 credits at 480p, 95 at 720p and 190 at 1080p.
Wan is Alibaba's video series. In Wan 3.0 the sound is part of the price, and a 5 second 480p clip with it is 50 credits, which makes it good for trying an idea several times. Wan 2.7, the version before it, animates a first frame toward an optional last frame. This guide covers both.
What you need
- An idea for one shot, or a picture to start from (and one to end on, if you want).
- If a picture shows a real person, use your own photo or one you have that person's permission to animate.
- A Kinoseed account and some credits. Video starts with a plan; the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month) covers 5 five second Wan 3.0 clips at 720p.
Step by step
- 1
Open the Video studio and choose Wan 3.0
Click the Model card and pick Wan 3.0. The Wan 3.0 model page opens the studio with it already selected.
- 2
Start from text, or add a start and an end frame
Wan 3.0 works from the Prompt alone. To fix the first shot, drop a picture into Start frame under Start & end frames; add an End frame and the clip moves from one to the other. A start frame costs the same as text: 95 credits for 5 seconds at 720p.
- 3
Pick the shape, Resolution and Duration
Choose 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1 with the shape buttons, 480p, 720p or 1080p under Resolution and 5 or 10 seconds under Duration. There is no Sound switch: the sound comes with every clip.
- 4
Write the Prompt as one shot, with the sound
Say who or what is in the frame, the one thing that happens, the camera move and the light, then a few words for the sound: "waves and gulls", "a crowd cheering".
- 5
Press Generate Video
The price is on the button before you press it. The clip lands in the feed beside the controls, ready to download, with no watermark. A failed run is refunded automatically.
Prompts to copy
Paste any of these into Video studio as a starting point, then change the details to fit your photo.
Text with sound
A street food cook flips noodles in a flaming wok at night, sparks jumping. Handheld close-up. Sound of sizzling oil and a busy street behind.
Start and End frame
The camera glides from the empty room to the same room fully furnished, morning light moving across the floor.
Nature, vertical
Rain falls on a still mountain lake at dawn, mist drifting over the water. Slow push in. Sound of rain on the water.
What Wan 3.0 and Wan 2.7 cost
Wan 3.0, sound included: 50 credits for 5 seconds at 480p, 95 at 720p, 190 at 1080p; 10 seconds at 1080p is 370. Frames do not change the price.
Wan 2.7 animates a picture only, 5 or 10 seconds, at 720p or 1080p: 95 credits for 5 seconds at 720p and 140 at 1080p. It has no sound. See pricing for the plans.
When to use Wan 2.7
Pick Wan 2.7 when the clip has to start and end on two pictures you already have: a before and after, a reveal, a loop. The shape follows your first frame, so a tall photo gives a tall clip. For how it compares with Kling on the same pair of frames, see Wan 2.7 vs Kling 3.0.

Tips for better results
- Draft at 480p, then run the keeper at 1080p.
- Name the sound you want in a few words; otherwise the model picks something that fits the picture.
- Crop a start frame to the shape you picked before uploading it.
- Use the same picture as Start frame and End frame for a clip that loops; see how to loop or extend an AI video.
- For camera words models follow, see how to write AI video prompts with camera moves.
