About Kling 4.0 Flash

Kling 4.0 Flash is the faster, lower-cost tier of Kling 4.0, the video model from Kuaishou. It takes a text prompt or a start image and renders at 720p.

Clips are 5, 10 or 15 seconds long. From text you choose 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1; from an image the clip follows the picture's shape. Sound is made with the picture and is part of the price.

Use it to try an idea or a prompt before running the keeper on Kling 4.0 at 1080p, or when 720p is all the clip needs.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 5-second clip in dollars

The cheapest Kling 4.0 Flash run is 90 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Kling 4.0 Flash API

Run Kling 4.0 Flash from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id kling-4-flash. This request costs 90 credits ($1.80). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Kling 4.0 Flash from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
