Kling 4.0 on Kinoseed: price per run and API

About Kling 4.0

Kling 4.0 is the fourth major version of Kling, the video model from Kuaishou. In Kinoseed it works from a text prompt alone, or from a start image with an optional end image, so you can fix the first and the last shot and let the model move between them.

Clips are 5, 10 or 15 seconds long in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1, at 720p or 1080p. There is no sound switch: the model makes sound with the picture, and it is part of the price.

It is the Kling to use for the take you will post, and for clips longer than the 10 seconds Kling 3.0 stops at. For drafts at 720p, Kling 4.0 Flash runs the same family for less.

Prices are in credits and come from the same quote the studio and the API charge. The exact price is on the Generate button before you spend anything, and a failed generation is refunded automatically. The dollar figure next to each price is at the standard rate of $0.02 a credit.

A 5-second clip at 720p in dollars

The cheapest Kling 4.0 run is 150 credits. What that comes to depends on how you buy credits; the Studio plan sells them cheapest.

The smallest plan is the $10 Basic plan (500 credits a month).

Kling 4.0 API

Run Kling 4.0 from your own code with one POST to /api/v1/videos and model id kling-4. This request costs 150 credits ($3.00). Create a key on your account page and replace the placeholder.

Price any other settings first with POST /quote, which is free. Videos take a few minutes, so the script waits on the job until it is done. Every field is described in the videos docs.

Kling 4.0 from an AI agent (MCP)

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients run the same request as the generate_video tool. Add the server once:
