Animate a drawing
Add a picture of your sketch and describe what should happen. The drawing fills in and starts to move.
You need: A photo or scan of the drawing. Pencil on paper is fine. A typical run is 25 credits, shown on the button before it starts.
Every run shows its price first, and a run that fails is refunded.
A real result from this tool, made with Seedance 2.0. The prompt: A rough pencil sketch of a sailing ship on white paper fills the frame, and the drawing fills in and comes alive: the hull gains timber and paint, the sails catch wind, water builds beneath the bow and the ship pulls away across an open sea under fast-moving cloud.
What makes it come out well
- Draw dark lines on plain paper and photograph it in daylight. Shadows from your phone read as parts of the drawing.
- Describe the motion, not the picture. The model can already see a ship, so tell it the ship is sailing into a storm.
- Say what style the result should have: watercolour, film, cartoon. Without one, the model picks for you.
Questions
Does a rough sketch work?
Yes. A few clear shapes are enough, and the example here started as a rough pencil sketch.
Can kids' drawings be animated?
Yes, they usually come out charming. A clear photo of the page is all it needs.
